We are seeking a skilled Technical Implementation Specialist, to be based at the company's Orlando headquarters.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with new and existing customers to implement a broad range of mobile data services in GSM and CDMA cellular networks.
  • Work with internal resources to expedite handset deployment for new and existing projects.
  • Anticipate release of new handsets and work with customers to assess potential inclusion.
  • Maintain comprehensive list of supported cellular handsets, and keep all carrier customers informed of latest additions.
  • Coordinate resolution of handset technical service issues with customers and internal resources.
  • Manage incident response including problem recognition, analysis, resolution and follow-up.
  • Ensure escalation to senior level, as appropriate.
  • Provide support to customers on using the ProConfig OTA handset configuration tool.
  • Assist account and project management teams to ensure smooth customer implementations.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Excellent customer service skills and possess a clear, understandable phone manner and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Travel up to 25% for field support, as required.
  • Capacity to work flexible schedule to accommodate customers in other time zones.
Desired:
  • Previous experience in technical customer support and/or service management.
  • Experience developing and executing acceptance test plans.
  • Experience with over-the-air provisioning tools for cellular handsets.
  • Previous experience in the cellular industry, especially handset configuration or mobile data services.

Education

Associate Degree in technical field or equivalent work experience.
