We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager, to be based at the company's Orlando headquarters, to drive implementation of the company.s mobile data services to cellular carriers. The applicant must be able to communicate with confidence, clarity, and honesty, take initiative, and assume ownership of a wide variety of processes & deliverables. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage concurrent projects to on-time completion with minimal guidance/oversight.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to implement a broad range of mobile data services in GSM and CDMA cellular networks.
  • Coordinate with sales and technical personnel to prepare scope of work for all new projects.
  • Develop project schedules and set project milestones.
  • Assemble resources required for project execution.
  • Drive concurrent projects to on-time completion with minimal guidance/oversight.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of all project elements.
  • Monitor milestones, and escalate issues with sufficient time for correction.
  • Otherwise assist company and customer personnel to ensure superior results.

Qualifications

Required:
  • 3-5 years experience as project manager in related technology field.
  • Extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong writing skills applied to project planning and specification documents.
  • Excellent communication skills and possess a clear, understandable phone manner and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to work flexible schedule to accommodate customers in other time zones.
  • Experience leading project teams of sales, software development, and customers.
  • Proficient in use of project management tools and MS Office.
Desired:
  • Previous experience in technical customer support and/or service management.
  • Previous experience in the cellular industry, especially mobile data services.

Education

Associate Degree in technical field or equivalent work experience. P.M.P. Certification a plus
